What happen if i did not charge the battery before installing it?

i went to a store to change my Honda civic battery, so they add a new battery and the car worked fine , but when i get back home i check the battery and i found on the on the battery label that the battery require charging ,, bu the problem is that the technician how changed the battery did not change it before he install it at my car,,, so my question is what might happen if it was not charged ? will the alternate or any other part in the car be effected?What happen if i did not charge the battery before installing it?It'll be fine.What happen if i did not charge the battery before installing it?If the battery is fresh, it should be fine.
