2000 chevy malibu-battery replaced and now i can't turn on the radio?

my mechanic changed my battery, which would normally leave all of my preset stations messed up, but when i turned the car on, there was no sound at all. i've tried switching the power button on, but to no avail. i think that this seems strange, as it was working fine before, and i've never turned the radio off. how do i fix this?2000 chevy malibu-battery replaced and now i can't turn on the radio?Could be a blown fuse. Does the display say LOC...GM cars have an anti-theft feature on their radios if the power is cut like when people steal them. Disconnecting the battery has the same effect. You'll have to enter a security code to get the radio to function again. Call the dealer for info if you don't have the code or try Radio-code.com for it...small fee.2000 chevy malibu-battery replaced and now i can't turn on the radio?check the fuses2000 chevy malibu-battery replaced and now i can't turn on the radio?sounds like he removed the batter for more that 30 minutes .in that case you will have to input a security code before the radio will come back to normal function.. check with your local Chevy dealer or it might be in you service Manuel.2000 chevy malibu-battery replaced and now i can't turn on the radio?Fuse
